Terms of Use

Rules for using TamKungZ_ Packages, including downloads, mirroring, acceptable use, and availability.

Acceptance of these terms

By visiting packages.tamkungz.me, or by downloading anything from it with a browser or a package manager, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the repository.

These terms cover how the repository and website may be used. The license of each individual package is covered separately on the License page.

Repository purpose

TamKungZ_ Packages is a package repository that hosts packages and release artifacts published by TamKungZ_ so they are easier to install and download.

It currently serves software through tools such as apt, dnf/yum, apk, xbps, pacman, Maven, Gradle, and winget manifests. Supported ecosystems may be added or removed over time.

Packages in this repository are TamKungZ_'s own software. It is not a mirror of other developers' projects.

Permitted use

You may use this repository with supported package managers and build tools to download, install, update, build, test, or run packages published here, within the license of each package.

You may browse the website and follow its installation instructions for personal, educational, or commercial use, as long as you comply with these terms and the license of the package concerned.

Acceptable use

Do not use this repository for abusive scraping, excessive automated requests, or any activity that disrupts normal package downloads and package-manager access for other users.

Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the repository, its hosting, or its build pipeline, and do not upload, inject, or tamper with packages, metadata, or signing keys.

Do not use the repository to distribute malware, or to misrepresent altered packages as official TamKungZ_ releases.

Access may be rate-limited or blocked, without notice, when it appears to violate these rules or to put the service at risk.

Package submissions

Packages are added only through TamKungZ_'s own automated publishing pipeline from TamKungZ_'s projects. Packages are not accepted through pull requests, issues, or email.

Outside contributions are welcome only for the website code, through the repository's normal contribution process.

Mirrors

Mirroring is allowed for official distribution repositories and established community package repositories, such as repositories maintained by Ubuntu or other Linux distribution communities, when the license of the package concerned permits it.

Do not create or publish unofficial personal mirrors, PPAs, Launchpad repositories, or independently hosted copies of this repository without permission.

A mirror must not be presented as an official TamKungZ_ repository unless it is maintained or approved by TamKungZ_.

To ask for permission to mirror, contact dev@tamkungz.me and describe who will operate the mirror and how it will be kept in sync.

Signing keys and verification

Repository metadata for APT, RPM, and pacman is signed with the TamKungZ_ GPG key, published at https://packages.tamkungz.me/gpg.key. Please check the key fingerprint shown on the website before you trust the key.

Signing keys may be rotated for security or maintenance reasons. When that happens, you may need to re-import the key by following the instructions on the website.

You are responsible for deciding whether to trust the key on your own systems. Do not trust keys, packages, or repositories that are not served from packages.tamkungz.me or an approved mirror.

Availability and changes

This repository is provided as-is, without guarantees of uptime, compatibility, or support.

Packages, versions, metadata, repository paths, and signing keys may be changed, moved, or removed at any time for maintenance, security, or release reasons. Old versions are not guaranteed to remain available, so do not rely on a specific file or URL staying in place forever.

These terms may be updated from time to time. The updated version applies from the moment it is published on this page, and continued use of the repository means you accept it.

Disclaimer of warranty

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the repository, website, and all packages are provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. This includes warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Software can contain bugs. You are responsible for testing packages before using them in production or in any critical environment.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TamKungZ_ is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including data loss, system damage, or business interruption, that result from using or being unable to use this repository or any package from it.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Third-party services and links

The website may link to, or depend on, third-party services such as GitHub, hosting or CDN providers, and analytics tools. TamKungZ_ does not control these services and is not responsible for their content or practices.

Security issues, takedowns, and contact

To report a security issue, please email dev@tamkungz.me directly rather than opening a public issue.

For mirror requests, takedown requests, permissions, or other repository issues, contact dev@tamkungz.me.

For a bug in a specific package, you can also report it in that project's own repository.
