Overview
This policy explains what information is processed when you visit packages.tamkungz.me or when a package manager or other client requests files from it.
TamKungZ_ Packages is a simple package repository. It does not ask you to create an account or give personal information in order to download packages.
Data we do not collect directly
This site does not provide user accounts, comments, newsletters, contact forms, or payment forms, so it does not directly collect names, passwords, or payment details.
If you email dev@tamkungz.me, the address you write from and the content of your message are received and used only to respond to you.
Data collected automatically
Normal web server, CDN, hosting, and security logs may record request metadata such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, referrer, status code, and timestamp.
Package managers and automated clients (for example apt, dnf, apk, xbps, pacman, Maven, Gradle, and winget) also leave these records when they request repository metadata or package files. The user agent usually shows which tool and version made the request.
Analytics
Generated package index pages include the Ahrefs analytics script, which is used to understand aggregate website traffic, such as how many people visit and which pages are viewed.
Analytics are loaded on website pages. Package-manager downloads do not run the analytics script, but they may still appear in server or hosting logs as described above.
Data processed by Ahrefs is handled under Ahrefs' own privacy policy.
How data is used
Operational data is used to run and maintain the repository, keep it secure, investigate abuse, debug availability problems, and understand aggregate usage.
This site does not intentionally sell personal information, and it does not use it for advertising or for building profiles of individual visitors.
Sharing and service providers
Data may be processed by the infrastructure providers that serve the site, such as hosting, CDN, and build providers, and by the analytics provider named above. They process it only to provide their services.
Information may be disclosed if required by law, or when needed to protect the repository, its users, or others from abuse or security threats.
Retention
Logs are kept only as long as needed for security, troubleshooting, and operations, according to the retention settings of the infrastructure providers in use. Retention periods may differ between providers.
Security
Reasonable measures are used to protect the repository and its data, including signed repository metadata and an automated, publicly visible build process. No online service can guarantee perfect security.
Children
This repository is intended for developers and system administrators and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal data, such as the right to ask about, correct, or delete it. You can also block the analytics script with your browser settings or a content blocker without losing access to packages.
Because logs are not tied to accounts, we may not always be able to identify which records relate to you, but we will do our best to handle reasonable requests.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the site or its providers change. The latest version is always the one published on this page.
